Our Entire Team is Now Certified in Pet CPR and First Aid

At The Modern Canine, your dog's safety is always our top priority, and now we've taken that commitment a step further. We're proud to announce that our entire team has completed certification in Pet CPR and First Aid.

This training prepares our staff to respond confidently to a wide range of emergencies, from choking and wounds to heatstroke and cardiac events. Whether your dog is here for grooming, daycare, or boarding, you can rest easy knowing every member of our team is equipped to act quickly and calmly if the unexpected happens.

"We know how much your dog means to your family, and that's why we wanted every single person on our team, not just a few, to be ready for anything," says Monika one of the owners of The Modern Canine.

We completed this training through Paws & Claws 911, a recognized provider of pet first aid and CPR education. The course covered emergency assessment, rescue breathing, chest compressions, and treatment for common injuries and illnesses in dogs.

"This certification gives us the confidence to act fast and keep your pet safe, no matter what happens on our watch." adds Lisa, the Grooming Salon Manager.

We've been proud to serve the Belle Mead, NJ community since 2023, offering nutrition advise, dog food, treats, toys and dog grooming services. Have questions about how we keep your pup safe? Contact us or visit us in person, we'd love to chat!
