Yes, we are a by-appointment only grooming salon. Appointments can be made through our online booking portal or by calling us directly at: (908)-308-2006.

We accept all major credit cards and cash. We do not accept checks. If you wish to tip your groomer you can tip via cash or Venmo. We do not accept tips on cards.
Time has been specifically reserved for your dog's appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment you must call at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time. Providing less than 48 hours' notice will require you to pay a cancellation fee.
Yes, proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination is required for all dogs being groomed at The Modern Canine. For puppies under 6 months old we do waive the rabies vaccine requirement.

Online Store FAQ
We process and pack all in-store pickups within an hour or less!
For items that are pre-order, it could take up to a week for them to be available. But you will receive confirmation once it is ready for pickup.
At this time we do not ship any frozen or perishable items. They are on our website for ONLY pickup in store in Belle Mead NJ.
We ship using UPS Ground and USPS Priority only. Shipping can be as fast as 1-2 business days if you are close to us. Shipping can also take 3-5 business days if you are across the country.
We process and ship packages same day. Packages may take longer depending on weather and the time of the year.
